Payments

 

A deposit of $150 is required to secure your date and time. The balance is to be paid by our agreed method a minimum of 14 days before the Ceremony date. Receipts will be issued as soon as possible after payment.

 

 

Refund Policy

 

In the event of a cancellation by me I will arrange for a replacement Celebrant and pass on to them all relevant paperwork or you will receive a full refund

Notice of cancellation of ceremony must be given by the parties to the Celebrant and the Celebrant will retain the full amount paid. Another date will be negotiated for the Ceremony to take place within the following 12 months. The celebrant reserves the right to leave the place of the Marriage ceremony 20 minutes after the agreed start time if both parties have not arrived or the ceremony cannot proceed for any reason outside the Celebrant’s control.

In the event of the above occurrence, the Parties will liaise with the Celebrant to mutually agree on a later time and place for the Celebrant to solemnize the marriage for an extra fee, payable in advance. If the ceremony is delayed through no fault of the Celebrant which results in the Celebrant incurring extra charges such as parking fees, the Parties will pay the Celebrant’s further costs.

Note: Under paragraph 39I(1)(b) of the Marriage Act 1961, if the Registrar of Marriage Celebrants is satisfied that a marriage celebrant has not complied with an obligation under section 39G of that Act, including this Code of Practice, the Registrar may take disciplinary measures against the marriage celebrant.

 

A late fee may be charged for ceremonies that commence in excess of 20 minutes after the agreed commencement time. There is no guarantee that I will remain available in excess of 1 hour after the agreed commencement time.

 

If you require subsequent meetings or rehearsals not covered in the quote there may be a charge for excess travel time. I am available by email and phone.

 

I am not responsible to play or supply music for your ceremony. I am not responsible to supply props without costs.

Extra Rehearsals will cost $50
